Our Story

How we began, how we have grown, and where we are headed.

How we began

Wendy Public School was founded in 1995 by Mrs. Daljit Duggal, in the Cantonment area of Sagar. It began, as the best schools often do, with a small group of children and a large idea: that education should shape character as much as it sharpens the mind.

How we have grown

From those early classrooms the school steadily built the things a real education needs — proper science laboratories, a well-stocked library, activity rooms for art and yoga, a computer centre, and open ground for children to play. Over nearly three decades, generations of Sagar families have passed through our gates, many returning to enrol their own children.

Today the school runs an English-medium, CBSE programme from Nursery to Class 10, and its buses reach families across Sagar.

What we are known for

Across the years, our reputation has rested on a few consistent things: care, discipline, strong foundations in the early years, and a genuine closeness between teachers, children, and parents. That word-of-mouth trust remains our proudest achievement.

Where we are headed

Our focus now is to keep doing what we do best, and to do it visibly well — meaningful education in a caring, disciplined, development-oriented environment, with a campus and a curriculum that keep pace with the children we serve.

A detailed, dated timeline of milestones is being compiled with the school and will be added here.
