How we began
Wendy Public School was founded by Mrs. Daljit Duggal in the Cantonment area of Sagar. It began, as the best schools often do, with a small group of children and a large idea: that education should shape character as much as it sharpens the mind.
To confirm: the founding year. The legacy site states 1998; earlier references suggest 1996. We are verifying which date reflects registration, first session, and recognition before publishing it.
How we have grown
From those early classrooms the school steadily built the things a real education needs — proper science laboratories, a well-stocked library, activity rooms for art and yoga, and open ground for children to play. Generations of Sagar families have since passed through our gates, many returning to enrol their own children.
What we are known for
Across the years, the school’s reputation has rested on a few consistent things: care, discipline, strong foundations in the early years, and a genuine closeness between teachers, children, and parents. That word-of-mouth trust remains our proudest achievement.
Where we are headed
Today we are focused on doing what we do best, and doing it visibly well: meaningful education in a caring, disciplined, and development-oriented environment for Sagar families.
To confirm: milestones and specific dates for this timeline, and the school’s current and planned class span.
