Mrs. Daljit Duggal
Wendy Public School owes its character to its founder, Mrs. Daljit Duggal. She built the school around a belief that has never changed: that children deserve to be educated — helped to think, to feel, and to grow — not simply processed through a syllabus.
Her educational philosophy
Under her guidance, the school has always treated academics and values as inseparable. Discipline, compassion, integrity, and a humanitarian spirit are taught alongside reading and arithmetic, because a good education is meant to produce good people, not only good marks.
Why she built Wendy
Her aim was a school that ordinary Sagar families could trust: secular, welcoming to children from every section of society, safe, and genuinely caring. A place where a child is known by name, and where parents are partners rather than customers.
Her legacy
That founding spirit — care, discipline, holistic development, and strong early foundations — still runs through every classroom today. It is the standard the whole school measures itself against.
