Mrs. Daljit Duggal

Wendy Public School owes its character to its founder, Mrs. Daljit Duggal. In 1995 she built the school around a belief that has never changed: that children deserve to be educated — helped to think, to feel, and to grow — not simply processed through a syllabus.

Her educational philosophy

Under her guidance, the school has always treated academics and values as inseparable. Discipline, compassion, integrity, and a humanitarian spirit are taught alongside reading and arithmetic, because a good education is meant to produce good people, not only good marks.

Why she built Wendy

Her aim was a school that ordinary Sagar families could trust: secular, welcoming to children from every section of society, safe, and genuinely caring — a place where a child is known by name, and where parents are partners rather than customers.

Her legacy

That founding spirit — care, discipline, holistic development, and strong early foundations — still runs through every classroom today. It is the standard the whole school measures itself against, and the reason Wendy has kept the trust of Sagar families for nearly thirty years.
